Know the market

Research, checks, and advice

Decide with the local facts in front of you

Does anyone here actually want what you sell? What do competitors charge, and how do they position themselves? Is entering worth it, and if it is, what’s the shortest way in?

We find out and tell you what we found. Including when the answer is no.

What we do

Competitor and pricing analysis. What competitors in your category actually charge in this market, how they position themselves, and where the gaps are. Read in Czech, reported in English.

Market entry evaluation. Whether there is real demand for your product here, who buys it, and what it would take to reach them. Often the useful answer is that the market is too small to justify a company here or a local hire, and it’s cheaper to hear that from us than to find out yourself.

That answer isn’t the end of the conversation. Plenty of companies have Czech customers, Czech paperwork or a Czech partner without ever setting anything up here. You can serve this market without being in it, and that’s what the rest of our work is for: the institutional side, and talking to your Czech customers.

Consultations. How things work here. Regulations, business culture, why the bank is asking for that document, what a Czech client will expect in a contract. By the hour, whenever you have a question worth an answer.

Ongoing monitoring. For clients on a retainer, we watch what matters to you: regulatory changes, competitor moves, anything in your category worth knowing before it becomes a problem.

Partner and supplier checks. Before you sign with a Czech company, we check the commercial register, the insolvency register, and the debt records, then call a few people who have worked with them. You get a short written answer: solid, risky, or avoid, and why.

What it costs

Consultations start at €120 per hour, one hour minimum, then in 30-minute blocks.

Research projects and partner checks are quoted per project once we agree what you need. Small checks are small money.

Where we stop

We’re not a market research agency.

What we do is desk research, public registers, and conversations, done by someone who knows which register to check and who to ask. That is the right tool for most decisions a small company faces. If you genuinely need quantitative consumer research, we’ll find a suitable agency and arrange it for you.
